Having a successful party is fun and easy!! Here are 9 simple steps to a successful party.

1. Personally invite (either by phone or in person) your guests. You will have a better turnout. Ask, “Do you think you can make it?” after you tell them about the party. Most people aren’t sure what Story Time Felts is so if you show them they will be more likely to come. Everyone who gets to see the felt loves it!
   
   If they say “no” ask them if they’d like to see a catalog. It’s best to get their orders before the party.
   
   
2. Over-Invite! On average you need to have 12 to 15 people say yes to have 10 people come. Ask your guest to bring a friend or friends along with them to the party.
   
   
3. Be Enthusiastic! Show your guests the catalog/sample and express your excitement!
   
   
4. Send a copy of your "Yes and Maybe Guest List" to me within 3 days so that I can send out reminder cards.
   
   
5. Obtain outside orders as well as bookings before your party. Tell everyone  that they can host a party as well since they can’t come. Collect their order & get catalog back so you can pass it on.
   
   
6. Call or personally remind everyone about your party the day before. Tell them what Story Time Felts is and why they should come. Your consultant would be happy to help you make these calls; just get her their names and phone numbers.
   
   
7. Keep your refreshments simple! Water and cookies are ample.
   
   
8. Follow Up. Call people who didn’t come and say, “We missed you at the party. Would you like to see a catalog before we close?”
   
   
9. HAVE FUN! This is a party - time for friends, relatives and new friends to relax and have a good time.
