I grew up in a small town in South Carolina, the oldest of five children and the only girl. I moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University where I met and fell in love with the man of my dreams. My husband and I have two wonderful teenagers (yes, I know that's an oxymoron, but it's true nonetheless). I've loved reading and writing since I can remember and in the last few years have discovered that I love the art of storytelling as well. My hobbies and interests include interior design, music, gardening, landscaping, volleyball, creating memory books and writing personal and family histories. I love learning and trying new things and am currently on a passion quest to to rediscover myself, my goals and my dreams.

I have always loved music. I have been singing and playing the piano since I was a little girl. I also enjoy writing and so the Tall Tales CD was especially fun as I wrote the lyrics for seven new songs. I've enjoyed teaching vocal lessons, composing music, and performing. As a Story Time Felts consultant since 2002 I love telling the felt stories to my children and they enjoy singing along with the songs on the CDs.

Music has always been a huge part of my life and really what makes me who I am. I have been playing the piano most of my life and writing music for about 15 years. I started my studio because I wanted a place for me to sit and write music and also help other artists out there who want to record their music. Since my studio opened July of 2005 I have had many projects including music for advertising, videos and currently new music for Story Time Felts. I have had the opportunity to record and master several full albums for several different people the past few years as well. Composing, arranging and writing music is what I do mostly now and I absolutely love it. There is nothing better than creating something moving in a musical piece and have someone else touched by it. Music is such an important part of our lives and I am so grateful that I am able to do what I do.
